History of the Japanese Necktie?

Does anybody know the history of the Japanese Necktie? Did Eddie invent that submission or get it from somewhere else?

I'm just curious about it because I love this move and have started to tap people with it who are much more experienced than me. In MTS, Eddie says that it's a game changer and he is so right!!

I think one of his students showed it to him or something but I'm not too sure, either way it's fucking badass.

Aoki says he developed the choke and he spends a large part of his 2nd DVD teaching it.
