    Dealing with the inverted guard

    One of the guys at my gym has started using the upside down/inverted guard alot these days and i find it pretty hard to deal with, it seems whatever i try to do ends in a sub for him. Does anybody have any tips/videos to help deal with/pass this type of guard?

    dont get your face to close to his butt.. his butt will come and slice your nose open..it truly has happend..and its akward.

    here is a disk 4 of Ryan Halls triangle set. he goes a little bit into things to look out for like why not to pressure into the upside guy, and knee bar opportunities since their legs are right there for the grabbin for both people.
