Advanced rubber guard delayed again?

Hi
Myself and a few students were expecting the new book to be delivered in the next few days, from budovideos. I just checked the website and saw that the release date has been changed to 1st of november?
This seems really strange that the day before release day the book would suddenley be delayed by 3 months without any notification.
Just wanted to see if anyone has any details or can confirm? I am really surprised ther are no topics on this forum about it!

Cookie used to keep a thread going on the books release date, but he hasn't posted in a while. I got an email from Amazon yesterday saying it should be posted to between the 13th of August and the 22nd of August.

I got an email from amazon saying "estimated arrival date December 15, 2011 - December 19, 2011."

It's strange that Amazon are quoting an earlier release date for the UK than for the US...
