Things you hate to see at grappling/jiu jitsu tournaments...

-Flying arm bars in novice/beginner/white belt divisions
    -Skimpies
    -Bare feet in the bathrooms

    What else?

Why is that? Honestly, no kidding, that's one of the first techniques
I started working on, because I thought it was cool. Certainly doesn't
mean I can beat all the Novice competitors.

I hate to see the other guy's hand go up!

I wouldn't dare talk about jiu jitsu as i only have a few classes, but i have a black/red taekwondo belt and by far the most dangerous tournaments were the white, yellow and orange belts. They tried to pull complex techniques that looked cool but that they didn't master and people got hurt. You should master the basics and build from there. I assume in jiu jitsu it goes the same way and i think that is why the first poster doesn't like Flying arm bars done by noobs in tournaments.
