Just introducing myself. I remember seeing a thread about it when I initially signed up but can't seem to find it now.
My name is Lucas Bingham, I'm 24 and I live in Long Beach, CA. I started training at the Gracie Academy in Torrance when I finally realized I needed to start getting in better shape and what better way to do it then start doing an activity I was already really intrigued with. I'm only 2 stripes into my white-belt now but I can't wait to move up to the Master Cycle class to get some more sparring in.
I've been a UFC fan since before I could remember and also been a active member on the Rogan Boards and a fan of the JRE. Obviously I heard about Eddie Bravo through that and it led me here. I just really enjoyed learning about Eddie's experience and how his Jiu-Jitsu career turned out and I really like his style of JJ.
I just signed up for this $5.00 a month thing and really hope it will entertain and mostly help me in my JJ. I guess that's about it other than I'm gonna be lurking for a while to observe how this community works and hope to be in the middle of it in no time.
