Arm Triangle from bottom mount variation

Ive been playing around with this for awhile now. I used to trap the arm (s grip on top of head) go figure four grip and bridge and roll to guard. Now I'm try to hit "escape from Alcatraz" after trapping the arm. As soon as I see someone go for a key lock, I shoot up to trap the arm. I feel like I can get a tap 50% of the time with the lockdown.

I've tried an arm triangle from guard from a failed hip bump. Felt pretty tight but didn't get the tap

Apollo choke? Its money to get a guy to straighten out from twister pass.

Talking about Hitting arm triangle when you are mounted, then escaping out to half.

ive never tried an arm choke from being mounted. as far as lockdown goes i only use the apollo choke. its good to get a guy away from that twister pass. plus good squeeze from your legs of course.

iv found a good clinch with your arms determines how easy an opponent passes your half guard or quarter. Being that we mentioned the half guard.

Man I once had Tyler in a mounted arm triangle and had it pretty tight but then he somehow managed to escape his lower body and while I still had the arm triangle he used it to turn into me and get me in a swim move pretty damn cool think he said he learned it from a seminar
