Just got my copy of "Mastering the Rubber Guard" and I have to say: game changer. What little I knew of BJJ went out the window. 10th planet JJ for LIFE! But seriously, just reading the first 25 pages let me know that indeed I was stepping into a larger universe, I just cant wait to roll with my crew this Sunday and pass on some knowledge!

awesome that your learning the system. but bro its not about what you already know going out the window. dont throw it away, 10pjj is just another tool to add to your arsenal. keep an open mind dont close it off to other systems just cause you think 10th planet is the shit.

Ive found that there is *always* something bad-ass tucked away in every martial art. So if Im really saying anything here, its that there is value in nearly everything if you look hard enough, its just up to you to pick it up and keep it in your arsenal. Hell, I still use some of my footwork from fencing.
yah man, when i watched the dvd M.T.RG it was a technique i only knew ONE thing about, from guard you throw a leg up and hold it here and you can punch and THAT WAS IT... so i went into watching the dvd in like "okay lets see what you can do with this potential position" and i start watching and realize ITS 3 HOURS? HOW IS THERE 3 HOURS ON THIS! (i think it was more like 2 hr 45 but eitherway it was FULL) and i was watching eddie go through EVERYTHING in his "bag of tricks" at that time and when i was done i was BLOWN AWAY like I CANT BELIEVE I JUST UPPED MY SKILLS
its highly interesting im surprised more people dont trust in it like we all do
