Awesome post! Sweet that it's current, this month! Marcelo looks funny with his hair growing out lmao. But damn MG is just so good, scott couldnt do shit, MG passed out of rubber guard to side control so easily. I can't wait to join MG's Florida academy in a few months! :D

I just heard that Marcelos instructor in Florida is moving back to NY so there will be no instructor. And because of that the school in Florida will be closing.
Marcelo is in a whole nother universe these days, I say him walk thur Black belts at his seminar in Oklahoma. The only guy that challenged him at all was some random purple belt. Funny the seminar I was at he went over Butterfly sweeps and North South Chokes.

Fair play to einstein, not properly trained in a Gi for 5 odd years probably, to go and roll against marcelo in a gi knowing he was going to take a beating. I think it shows great humility. But wow! did you see marcelo pass einstein's rubber guard, really impressive.
No Ego's just jiu jitsu, what could be better then that.
marcello is king for a reason and to have a chance to train , roll and learn from him i woulda wore a suit of armor. i hate the gi it is very constricting and i felt trapped at all times. im going back in december and will go on the no gi days ,i can then get my ass kicked playing my own game.
Einstein is right, Marcello is king for a reason. Props to you for throwing a gi on and rolling with him. That must have been awesome. I went down to his school last year and rolled with his guys but didnt get a chance to roll with him. Im heading there this weekend to compete so im going to try and stop by his place for a good choke ;)

im going dec 24th till the 31 . no gi days are tues and thurs.. i will try to go 2 times a day. i just watched the video i dont think i looked as misrable as i felt..
Marcelo is a beast, we all know that. Scott wasn't going all out though. He seemed really concerned with Marcelos grip on his sleeves. Like wrist control that you can't escape. I think he was just seeing where he was against one of the greats and learning from the experience.
