My quote is accurate!!! Robson has Not had the same success in no-gi as he had in Gi. Period. Don't take it like I'm saying he sucks.
When he fought in a Gi he was almost unbeatable!!!! No-gi you can't say the same thing. Yes, he didn't compete in many no-gi tournaments. But he fought in enough to know he wasn't the BEST no-gi guy out there.
The perception is there that he was a much better Gi guy: Even Slick Rick was talking about it.
Yes, you are right that he is a top 10 BJJ competitor of all time. Would never debate that.
