These passes work great. However, if you play the lockdown often and for several years these attempts to pass aren't that strong. Lockdown is my go to game. I love the bottom and have played it since 2005. The major issue I see with most lockdown players is once they get the lockdown they straighten their legs and lie their. You have a major hold on the dude's leg. Why not use that and whip him around. He is will have a hard time attempting any pass because he can't establish base. You have 5-0 control if he tries to sit or put his shoulder pressure into you. You can bring the knee back to your belly if he breaks your lockdown. Just mini stop and lock him down again. Remember, their are other levels to playing the lockdown as with any position. That is why Eddie has been so successful with it. Just look at his match with Royler when he was still experimenting with it. How many times did Royler pass? Once or twice maybe. I don't care who I go against. I'm not worried about them breaking my lockdown once I have it on. They maybe will keep me from sweeping them and force me to go to butterflies or prison guard, but the moves shown here are no threat unless you let him dictate the pace. Just my experience :)
