Just curious, was the opening about never getting yourself into a bad situation related to his eventual thesis, or did his thesis come as a result of a tangent?

Word to the wise. When you start freestyling poetry on national TV, with many dudes chanting your name, getting you hyped, think about how the word combination comes out first, or you'll be saying, "oh, shit", when it's way too late.. :)
