Damn impressive performance Kevin, I was thoroughly entertained watching your vids.

Couple things: Your rubber guard has unlimited potential, you just need to strengthen your RG clinch, it looks to be a tab bit lose. Once you get that handled your rubber guard will look like denny's :)

Really really nice work. Maybe work on tightening up the lockdown as well. I'm a fan dude. :)

Yeah man, Boogey from 10p Vista showed me that sweep. I love it. No one's ever gable gripped around my waist before, but I can see how that could be hazardous. I know there's a second part to the sweep, if I remember correctly, you shoulder roll and take the back. I need to see it again, but I should certainly learn it since the first sweep is definitely a big part of shield guard game.

Th 93 guard sweep is really similar to a classic gi sweep, where instead of posting both hands on the floor you grab a sleeve and a knee. I don't think it works as well in no gi, because most guys are going to abandon the leg weave and either double leg you back down or take the back.
