Damn impressive performance Kevin, I was thoroughly entertained watching your vids.

Couple things: Your rubber guard has unlimited potential, you just need to strengthen your RG clinch, it looks to be a tab bit lose. Once you get that handled your rubber guard will look like denny's

Congrats again man!! I’d talk to my coach about moving to intermediate next time, I think you can handle it
Yeah man, Boogey from 10p Vista showed me that sweep. I love it. No one's ever gable gripped around my waist before, but I can see how that could be hazardous. I know there's a second part to the sweep, if I remember correctly, you shoulder roll and take the back. I need to see it again, but I should certainly learn it since the first sweep is definitely a big part of shield guard game.

Here's a video of me hitting it better in another match from that day. NAGA was nice enough to give this guy a consolation match and I got the honor of being his opponent. sweep at 3:34

Th 93 guard sweep is really similar to a classic gi sweep, where instead of posting both hands on the floor you grab a sleeve and a knee. I don't think it works as well in no gi, because most guys are going to abandon the leg weave and either double leg you back down or take the back.
