Separated Rib sucks! Better to take a rest and cross train or drill technique that doesn't cause pain. If you re-aggravate the problem, it has a higher potential to be worse than when it initially started, and if you keep re-aggravating it, it can be a lifelong problem. You don't want to have this plaguing you into your teens and 20's, 30's where you're in your prime and kicking @$$ master's division grappling tournies and UFC do you?

I got an idea for you though. You seem pretty beastly so when you get back use more of your time to run clinics on less experienced guys at half power and really explore your technique. I think that may improve your game just as much, if not more, than powering into guys at 110%

Lower back spasms are the reason why I am sitting here reading the forums instead of training, my buddies are getting ready to roll, just about right now. I did not go to the doctor but I think mine is also a pinched nerve issue.

Feeling much better tonight, still dad wouldn't let me go to class. He said its the drugs making me feel better not because anything has healed yet. Must be good stuff, soma or something like that. Whatever it is, sure works. But still going to take it easy, so I can be ready for Marcelo Garcia

Well had to face the fact, I can't do the Marcelo Garcia seminar tomorrow. My back feels a little better, But no where near ready to roll. Still getting sharp dagger pain in my hip and back when I move just right.
Wanted to meet him for a long time......this sucks.
