Thanks Ashley. Either way, I think we all want to see the fight. Anderson Silva is too good for GSP. It's better just to fantasize about that fight then to actually watch it. Silva KO 1.
Again, not so sure. Anderson ran away from Maia, and got beat up by Chael. Both Forrest and Belfort played Anderson's game and payed the price. Also, one thing is to submit a tired Chael Sonnen, submitting GSP is a complete different matter. Anderson tires quickly, GSP doesn't get tired. GSP has dominated every opponent in the last years, and even dominated Jake Shields after all the illegal eye pokes.
I think GSP has a very good chance if not the advantage against Anderson, is wrestling would make the difference.
I doubt Anderson would take the fight, he has a lot more to lose, i mean look at the size difference, it would be embarrassing, is legacy would be forever Tarnished.
One thing that bothers me is that all the champions say that they want to be more than Champions, they want to be the best ever. But when its time to prove it they all start backpedaling (i'am referring to GSP vs Silva, Anderson vs Jon Jones).
One final thing about Diaz, i didn't thought that he would be able to stand and bang against Paul Daley, and he proved me wrong.
On paper maybe. But Silva has the size advantage. Jake never went for a takedown, fought scared, and beat up GSPs face. Silva is very slick on his feet and avoids the takedown most of the time. Chael is bigger and stronger than GSP so that fight is irrelevant. Silva will frustrate us with his unwillingness to mix it up but he will catch GSP with an akward shot or Seagal kick to the face and it will be lights out. GSP is one of the all time greats and really has no weakness but there are certain guys that are a bad match up for him. Diaz and Silva are 2 of those guys. I respect any fighter willing to get in that cage and neither of the above mentioned are my favs, so those are just my opinions. I think part of the reason Dana hasn't made that fight is because he feels the same way. Silva by KO
Agree, big advantage there for Silva.Quote:

He chose not to go down, because it wouldn't be worth it. More than scared, he is just clumsy on the standup and he just beat GSP face because he kept throwing open hands (which lead to several eye pokes).Quote:

Irrelevant??? I don't think so, it showed a major flaw on Andersons game and GSP is one of the most athletic fighters in the ufc. Also unlike chael and anderson he doesn't get tired.Quote:

He would catch him if GSP plays Andersons game. If he goes forward like chael he will neutralize the spider. Who has better game plans and take downs than GSP? very few...Quote:

I would say the opposite, GSP is the perfect guy to defeat both Diaz and Silva. My main doubt is Andersons size, he looks so much bigger than GSP. I mean he looked bigger than forest:Quote:

I would love to see both fights.
Take care! ;)
