I've done that several times. The worst is when u do it and you lose the use of a muscle as a result. For me, I loss my rt peck n triceps. The strength eventually comes back but the atrophy is permanent. I go to a spine specialist. He gives me rehab and stretching exercises. Once it heals, and if I'm good w warming it up n stretching it, I can avoid it happening as long as I play my game that way. Nerves heal about a millimeter a month...so depending on how much of it u pinched, it could be a long time before it fully heals. The doc told me as soon as I get the strength back I can go at it...so I of course didn't listen...nobody else to teach n I can't be in the gym without going live, needless to say, I forced guys to my good side (until the use of my peck n tricep came back) did the rehab and played my game from open guard, didn't let anyone crowd me, and I got thru it. Your best bet is ask a doc...get an mri done to be sure its not too serious n stay away from the guys who jump on your head :) we all have disc issues, welcome to the club :)
Haha so true bro! It was actually after the hip incident. Yeah I'm like the broke ass version of the 6 million dollar man. Wait untill you see my homemade shoulder harness! Sorta like the bro-zier with alot of velcro. Hell, seems to keep my collar bone from poking peoples eyes out lol. Not to mention it lifts and shapes lmfao!
Dude go to the doctor! The same sort of thing happened to my friend and it turns out he bruised his spinal cord and had to be in a neck brace for a couple of months so be careful with that injury.
