Its SOOOO tight. As long as I hold my shin I get the tap regardless.

If you're doing it no arm in you're not doing this specific technique correctly. If you watch where Drew is setting it up his uke's right arm ends up in the reverse triangle. Absolutely a choke and a brutal triangle choke at that used at the highest level. Braulio vs Galvao
I think I know how to settle this. Brian you have to fly Drew out for a personal seminar.
I don't think it could be any clearer.
This thread is comedy, with some hardcore JJ thrown in...
Ok I get it the arm is in! :)
Jesus guys, I said that like a page ago... :)
The arm is in - but I don't think it is "IN". I don't think the choke is coming from the arm that is "IN" .... is it?

The angle of the video makes it hard to see, but if you watch this one you can get it. Drew is adding an extra hand on the shin to make it extra tight, but it's basically this:

This is a lot like the triangle I play with when my opponent drives their head too low in side control and I'm able to jam the head.
Thanks for clearing that up. Gold.
Ah man. :-) I've been getting stuck here with some of the bigger guys. Def gonna use this!!
Cade can tap you with nearly no squeeze, but with all angle.. He's also a very badass blackbelt. Lol.
