Damn dude, why are you so mad? Cody, if anything, teaching Gracie JJ for self defense is more the original intention anyway. BJJ wasn't created for MMA or tourneys. It was made for self defense. There's really no reason to be mad.

I fail to see how commercializing anything leads to a watering down of the sport? Doesn't spreading jiujitsu lead to an increase in people training it, that techniques are more widely available, and doesn't this again lead to harder competition? If anything it helps the sport grow, and ups the quality?
Like MTS, without that I wouldn't have had the same learning curve last year. All martial arts have a product to sell, and if that product is good, it sells more. I don't see a correlation between videos like these and a watering down of anything.
I might be missing something tho, if I do plz explain. I fell down the stairs as little, not all the cogs and wheels are where they are supposed to be.
