Has anyone died in their dream?

I have died many times in my dreams. It hasn't happened recently, but it started when I was in the Army in 2003. I dreamed that my commander shot me with a rpg while I was trying to run from him. I felt myself burning and being ripped apart, and I knew I was dead before I woke up. It has happened many times since then, and most of the time it was in a zombie disaster scenario. I have actually been bitten and turned into a zombie myself in one dream.

Strange one, I just had a crazy dream/nightmare where I could sort of fly a little, but was being hunted down by a group of cannibals who used religion to lure people in. Some they'd convert into their followers, the rest...they'd eat. Not fun to get chased down by a bunch of religious nut jobs trying to eat you. I guess they didn't succeed, since I'm still here.

I have died once that I can recall vividly. It was basically a ww3 scenario in the states. I remember trying to save my wife & tyler when a couple dudes grabbed me pulled my head back and another slit my throat. I felt the heat of blood rushing out & down looking at them grabbing tyler and lost conciseness then just black until I woke up. Fucking PTSD, this is why I smoke.
