did this really happen at Legends? Real? what happen to the guy?

Hey guys, im sure this has been brought up before, but searching for an answer online turned up both yes and no. my better judgment says its real. but who better to get the answer from than 10th planet and/or Eddie himself.http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V4MJanRISu8

lol lesson of life, never challenge someone who holds the title of "master" "professor" or anything of the sort. It just spells FAIL on your part. lol

its a joke. look up some more videos on youtube and you can see eddie talking about it. also...if you search, you can find a few peeps getting eddie with a good prank too! pretty funny stuff.
look for the extended version of that clip and you can see reveal of the prank.

cool cool, eddie is freakin wicked, when i first saw the video I was just thinkin to myself (oh hell, this guy clearly doesnt know who eddie is nor how bad and quick he's about to get messed up.)

looks pretty legit though. awesome that eddie is a cool instructor that like to mess around and isnt drill instructor strict like some styles teachers are.

my Jiu-jitsu family has definately became more than just a group of friends with the same interest.

awesome video, wouldnt be suprised if eddie were to choreograph a fight scene as a demo for people new to the art to show the effectiveness of BJJ/JJ in a real street fight.

I would've smacked Eddie upside the head if he did that. I can't believe some of the students who didn't know it was a joke carried the outside.

Get the Mastering the Rubber Guard DVD's they explain everything and seriously Mr Troll aka "Lost" your a clown you wouldnt have slapped anyone especially Eddie Einstein would probably have beat the hell out of you before Eddie even had a chance to if you even raised your hand at him LOL what a joke.

its become a regular thing anytime they get a bunch of new students and feel like fuckin with them.

perhaps the fact that the video is titled "Eddie Bravo Prank at Legends Gym" should be some indication towards the validity of the event. :)

It's called "Confidence" and not "Ego". Too many Instructors think they have to remain the resident BA and try to keep their students intimidated... Sad really, that's what stops evolution/progression...
