its a joke. look up some more videos on youtube and you can see eddie talking about it. also...if you search, you can find a few peeps getting eddie with a good prank too! pretty funny stuff.
look for the extended version of that clip and you can see reveal of the prank.

cool cool, eddie is freakin wicked, when i first saw the video I was just thinkin to myself (oh hell, this guy clearly doesnt know who eddie is nor how bad and quick he's about to get messed up.)

looks pretty legit though. awesome that eddie is a cool instructor that like to mess around and isnt drill instructor strict like some styles teachers are.

my Jiu-jitsu family has definately became more than just a group of friends with the same interest.

awesome video, wouldnt be suprised if eddie were to choreograph a fight scene as a demo for people new to the art to show the effectiveness of BJJ/JJ in a real street fight.
