I didn't mention the importance of dropping down to the knee in the Spiral & DLR segments. Its to eliminate as much space as possible to make granbying underneath extremely difficult, not impossible, but far harder to do.

Hey Zog I'm a complete leg lock noob so please forgive the ignorance of my question. If you're in like a reverse knee on belly position and you grab a far side toe hold would you look to lace up the other leg when you roll for it? Hope that makes sense! Thanks in advance!
Yes you can, the finishing position would be the same as the z-guard and spiral attacks. However when in the reverse knee on belly I usually just try and finish the toe hold on the near side just like in the Warm Up series D (Standing Passes)#4.
Diving for toe holds without control of their hips can expose your back if they know how to move. Chris shuts that option down.
What I really want to see is whatever sweep/sub/transition you bestow the label of Garbage Plate on. 10thPlanet always gets cool names and I can't think a better one to rep the Roc than a Garbage Plate.

Yeah that fight was from 3 years ago but the girl was a pro MMA fighter (and a frickin beast) who was making her MMA debut the following weekend. Heard she had to bail after that toe hold because ankle was pretty messed up. We all laughed at Gabby when they went out on the mat because the girl was ripped up and huge compared to Gab. Last thing I told her was she cant lift weights with her ankles...so just survive until you can get to your spot...
