just wondering if we had any...i just started the other day and i have to admit im already noticeing the effects..
I tried it for about 6 months... I was eating eggs and butter though (mostly as ingredients that I couldn't help). It was ok, but difficult as hell and I'm pretty sure I wasn't getting some pretty essential nutrition.
i was vegan for a couple months short of 5 years until about a month now. now i still have blood flowing to my muscles after 2 rounds of rolling. haha. b12 is a huuuuge deal.
just got back from the store with veggie burgers and veggie chheese..mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
Fuck that. car-niv-or-ous= me. Ill eat a baby rabbits heart while its still beating in front of its mother and the six year old girl who loves it. And I feel fine.
and when you get worms you would have wished you had a salad
the right veggie burgers are awesome. Vegetarian is all good just have to make sure you get the right nutrients or supplement for the lack. I would like going Raw foodist or vegetarian but im still to lazy to prepare the foods and its hard work. Alkaline diet will be the way for me in the future. Need to find a healthy GF to hook me up.
Worms are not hard to fix lots of natural remedies. I really would like to cleanse again you would be suprized at how many parasites are all ready living in you.
And when your over powered by a protein enriched body and brain? Look at nature. All animals we consider intelligent, actively hunting carnivores. Aside from the gray parrot, who does consume insects.
If you prepare your food properly, worms are not an issue. Living organisms don't deal well with extreme heat, or so I heard.
im not against meat in its self ..that wild rabbit is great just that all the meat you get at the store and in restaruants...is just so fulll of filth and chemicals...wild animails are fine...its just hard to get unless you kill them yourself
true if you go hunt your own meat and the animal has been nourished properly then its all good. you could just eat fish if you want its healthier but the same shit applies is this fish from polluted water or does it have high mercury content. I take fish oil pills but would like to start eating fish more.
pescatarian:)
I tried to go vegetarian for "religious" reasons awhile back. I felt weak and frail. I do eat a lot more non-meat stuff, and pretty much took red meat out of my diet (except for some rare occasions).
just so you know...a grilled chicken sandwitch is not chicken BREAST..its basicly all the rest of the chicken..
I'm vegetarian. Don't worry what other people say. If it is right for you, it is right for you. I gave up meat almost a year ago and I have never felt better.
I'm vegan as well 10 yrs.. No problem with meat eaters.
The other day I said hey I'm getting hungry so I drive up to the local store and got some Fried Chicken. I can't keep enough of that stuff. Do you vegetarians ever have energy problems???? I mean I LOVE vegetables but I would be hungry alot if I didn't have some meat as well. Damn Nature you scary.
I Have to say I am NOT a vegetarian...but I am part of PETA...you know, the People for the Eating of Tasy Animals... :)
Yeah... cook your food. Eat grass fed cows. Avoid unnatural shit if you can. Eat all the parts you can stomach. Heart, kidney, liver... that just tastes like meat if you throw it in a stew.
That meatrix video pretty much spelled it out. Local stuff is usually better.
Vegetarian since 99
i want to eat more vegetarian dishes , i do have some cookbooks with vegan / organic recipes ,i feel a good balance is necessary , red meat can be bad , i try to eat it only once a week , was juicing with my jack lalane juicer but it gets tough trying to clean the thing plus some veggies were so rauchy uhh it would knock ya down
Mike, add apples to the veggies that taste raunchy in your juicer, they tend to cover up most other flavors pretty good. Watch ot for juicing celery its very strong flavored. No advice for cleaning it, other then don't wait, it only gets harder to clean the more you wait.
been a vegetarian for 20 years. strength is not a problem. in fact, it's the least of my worries. bad technique and shoddy flexibility are more my issues. but it works for me - if you're interested in nutrition and training articles, check out Mike Mahler's website. He trains and advises a number of fighters, and he is a vegan. a big-ass, strong muh-fukin vegan.
Shopping for meat. Organic, virtually no saturated fat. 10Kg meat for $1.60

I'm jealous :P.. I have two hunting trips lined up when I go home next week before I have to return to NY. :-D
I don't know if I could possibly live without meat. I'm Iranian.. every meal I've had since I was two had like half a pound of meat in it(lamb, beef, chicken, pork(at least us), deer.. and many more). We have three freezers, two are for meat.
I respect yall for being able to sustain a vegetarian diet.. can't say I agree with it.. but to each his own. I would go crazy if I had to do it for more then a couple days.
I am.....
Love it Tim, thats bargain shopping.
