Wow looks slick, who is that guy tapping Marcelo?
I don't know who the guy is but Marcelo then proceeds to submit him repeatedly. His setup from side control for the sub on Marcelo was interesting.
Damnation, i cant watch it!
I don't know if that counts as rubber guard or not, but I'm pretty sure that's the first and last time Marcelo will get caught in that.
Yeah, looked more like a neck crank / no-arm inverted triangle to me. The beginning of the setup looked kind of like rubber guard, but only for a split second. Then again, I'm no 10th planet expert.Quote:

At that angle, I can't imagine that Marcelo thought he was in danger for that reverse triangle and he seemed to keep his arm in too long. That other guy did a great job of snagging an off angle shitty reverse triangle and then being tenacious enough to correct it into a solid reverse triangle.
Since it looks like the arm isn't encircled, it might be more a "howdy" with the legs than a triangle.
