Bad coaches...

So last night i went to a local mma fight and had my first case of WTF for coaches. Was talking to another HW asking where he was out of he told me and happened to be about 15min mins from my hometown and asked where he trained and normal questions. I get to his coaches and ask what there credentials where and wouldn't you know it but his head coach is a 10th planet black belt with certificate from Eddie Bravo Himself!!!.....now i tried to hold my tongue but i started asking way more questions at this point and after a few i was like man i doubt your coach is even a blue belt through 10th planet. Long story short kid got mad told his coach so i went over to apologize to the coach who then got very pissy with me and said if i think i'm such a good grappler then come to his gym and he would teach me a lesson. i told him he is whats wrong with mma and martial arts. First time that i have really been angry with someone over lieing about there credentials. Just sad that people lie about stuff like this and make business off of it. That is all sorts of dangerous for kids getting in the cage and competing just dont get it.

Thought I heard everything already. Fake fight records are the usual. One guy tried to tell me he was supposed to be on the first ultimate fighter season, and people in his gym would get a dream in their head of being the next ultimate fighter, not knowing the training was garbage. I laugh to myself and bite my tongue because their students believe their crap and put them up on a pedestal. They dont know any better and will just go straight to them to listen to more lies. Crap coaches will also try to tell you not to train anywhere else because they dont want you to find ot how garbage their training is compared to real good gyms.

So who was the fake black belt, I'm sure we would all like to know. He is pretty much ripping people off

Lol Brent littel thats funny your name got brought up actually...Guys name in Dan Lenhart this guy has been claiming since fall he was a black belt in JJ last night was the first time i heard it was from 10th planet as far as my knowledge goes only formal training he has is army combatant. He messaged me a little while ago claiming it was a mix up now but i have heard from multiple student of his he tells this in class and that he has a certificate to prove it.
