I haven't been here in a while so I'm sorry if someone already asked something similar.
Here's problem #1:
I get the lockdown with my legs but can't get double underhooks. my opponent has the over under control and puts alot of shoulder pressure on my face. I know that i shouldn't be flat on my back but it sometimes happens and i can't do the jaws of life and i can't shove my hand in there to get the double underhooks. What should I do?
Here's problem #2:
in competition, i was submitted with an americana and i had a good lockdown in. I usually don't get hit with that in practice but he got me good (after trying 5 different times) and i want to make my lockdown americana-proof.
here's problem #3:
are there any tips out there when doing lockdown with the gi? It's not as easy when guys are grabbing my gi like crazy.
