As some of you know, I'm a brown belt at an American Top Team school but have recently been studying the 10th Planet system. I'm starting with the Lockdown and positions from there.
Quick question/need advice.
I find that against some folks (heavier/purples and up), in order to get the double unders or to get off being flat on my back, I have to release the lockdown to post a leg to get some more power to create space.
Is this a 10th P rookie mistake? Should I be keeping the lockdown and drilling the whips more?
