Why is Eddie Bravo so racist ?

I just got into jiujitsu and started learning about 10th planet. And started watching Eddie's podcast. And on every podcast weather it's Eddie's or Joe Rogan's, Eddie just takes every opportunity to talk a lot of shit about black people. I'm not black and this is still very annoying to me. In the recent show with Joe Rogan & Gary Tonnen, Eddie said some racist shit that he may be to dumb to realize is very offensive. And I felt really bad for my friend who i'm trying to get into bjj. He is black and I said hey watch this with me and I felt really dumb forcing him to listen to all that racist nonsense spewing from Eddie & Joe's mouths. He must really have black people on his brain because he talks shit about them constantly and I feel sorry for the black people in his system that look up to him and have to listen to him talk so much shit about them. From such a ignorant & jaded view point. Every show it's him making jokes about slavery, or black people this & black people that. And the more I listen to him talk the more I realize this is who he is. " An idiot with amazing jiujitsu " & sure the hate will come my way but listen to his shows and the record will speak for itself. But of course, even with all the racist shit he says "there is no such thing as racism" even when painting a group of people with broad strokes & generalizations. He reminds me of Latinos & Asians I went to school with that tried desperately to be accepted by white people even when it ment alienating and abusing other groups & they still were not accepted. I love Eddie's jiujitsu but he is kinda dumb otherwise. And it's ironic that he spoke about dumb dudes who are good at bjj. Because he should look in the mirror when making those statements. This is my first post on this forum & it sucks it had to be this.

I was sleepless on a humid July night, fussing in a pokey-springed hotel bed, back spasming from too many years of being a misshapen oversized human with penchant for hand-to-hand combat. "Well fuck it," I thought, "I'm at the Grand Canyon. I'll go for a walk even if there is nothing to see." Clawing my way free of the sheets, I trundled over to the rim of the largest gash in the Earth. Beyond the minuscule circle of my flashlight, midnight reigned, the sliver of new moon wriggling in the grasp of wispy clouds. The silence of the tight airless night was infrequently interrupted by the leathery rustle of bats' wings. I stood for many uncounted moments, and then I sat on the edge, stifling my only light, contemplating the great nothingness in front of me, as good as infinite without any means to expand my human senses. My life, my place in space and time, the infinite possibility of the darkness, everything stretched and whirled and danced within my aimless mind.

Into this miasma, suddenly a flash of light was born to my sight. Far away, so faint as to be barely perceptible, lightning had rung my eyes. Perhaps a minute later, it flashed again, closer, but still distant across this 6-million-year-old chasm. I felt the wind begin to stir, saw the flash again, and this time heard the trailing thunder. I began to make out threatening clouds by the infrequent bursts of light. At some critical point, the storm crossed into the canyon itself, and the next flash I saw held the revelation of eons. The whole canyon was lit up in a single ephemeral terrifying instant, an insane stark and shadowy maw given the illusion of life by transitory illumination. I was transfixed, mind scrambled by the vastness I beheld, so much more intimidating than I possibly could have imagined. My weak brain had stood unable to conjure the true shape of the world.

You, Braden Lewis, are like the lightning flashing to reveal the chaotic abyss of the human zeitgeist, a stupefying reality against which I have somehow been blinded, stumbling in my tiny circle narrowly avoiding a painful fall into the fissure. Though I cringe and shrink away, I also somehow find myself oddly... excited.

This is the first time I've told this story & it sucks it had to be this.
