And, Kate Mulgrew and Lawrence Krauss have stated that their appearance in the film was not intentional. Krauss in particular had quotes of his mined and then used out-of-context. Max Tegmark and George Ellis have also spoken out against their inclusion in the film.

So with that said my idea for a sci-fy movie or the "sexy" idea of if the world was flat is this:

People were killing people back in the day for "thinking" that the world is round how ever the opposition was so strong
that people sailed out to prove it and they found the Americas , South America to be right so... if u draw a straight line
from Spain to prove the world is round u would supposed to hit North America if we look at the maps of round world wesee today. How ever C. Columbus hit the South of America if we look the flat Earth maps that go around on the flags of Un and so on it does makes sence... how ever that is a weak argument. Cus we dont know where to he actually sailed.
And her is the weird part and the idea i told u guys about .
If the world was flat and looked like all the worlds we see in the sky that have north and south anthere is an end where the poles switch maybe time travel and travel to other places could happen with a "doorway" u could just take a step , a leap of faith to where the line go up and down and where ever and u did be in another dimension.
So if we take that idea to be true , and the people in charge where aware of it and theywhere killing people to not try science.
Too keep us all safe from the unknown but we didnot listen we argued and when to the Americas and found a whole bunch of new races out there living in different styles and stuff and they where so many that they said : Well we told u its dangeruos
lets now say that the Earth is round so we can close this idea of travel cus we did be overwhelmed eventually if we found a couple of more of this type of "Worlds".
