Wolf Warrior 2
This movie made over a BILLION dollars last year. Insane big budget action including a mind-blowing underwater fight scene and my personal favorite actor Frank Grillo. Highly entertaining movie and a small portal into Chinese zeitgeist.

Oh and since this is now my movie thread... I saw this new Wes Anderson movie last night in theaters and it completely blew me away
Isle of Dogs
The premise is all the dogs in near-future Japan are sent to live on a trash island because of a massive conspiracy by a cat-loving dynasty lol. Phenomenal movie, I would recommend it to anyone.
