Thank you Daniel for posting this, spot on, When has randy's guard been tested, in any format ? when I fell in love with jiu jitsu it was " All " of jiujitsu not " Half " or a " Part " of it, Traditional, 10th Planet, All of it. It is my understanding that to even be close to the " Brown Belt Level " you must have a "Complete Game" with no " Holes " and focus on " Polishing Up " That also meens Kills from your guard. Does Randy have any Kills from his guard ? This is not Randys fault. There are Purple & Brown Belts with " Lethal Guards " and anyone at that level knows the time and work it takes to develope a " Complete Game " We used to see this kind of shit in the early years, " Cracker Jack Box " Black belts to promote "MMA" schools with jiujitsu. But those of us who " Piss " & "Shit " jits know that giving belts out like " Candy " not only hurts You, Your Student, but Jiu jitsu as a Whole, and in my opinion is kind of Disrespectful to the art.

Damm !!! Tim are you serious, A black belt in Jits in just "six weeks" what happens when thease guys face High Level Purples and get " Ran Through " Me personaly, I wouldn't even accept a belt if I didn't know within that I'm on the level. This type of shit shows that a lot of people don't take pride in there jiu jitsu.

its just unfortunate the problem is there are many people laying claim to having a Black belt in something just to promote MMA, my first instructor Carmine Zocchi is a prime example, claiming to have a black belt but never recieving one and just kind helping the rest of the world by continuing with that cycle since hes promoting people who arent really ranked cause hes not really a black belt.

Now Neil Meanson i dont know what his deal is but it would have been one thing if Randy went into a fight with a world class grappler and tapped him out another to go in with James tony and do what we all knew he would take him down to where hes uncomfortable.
Now lets be real randy is a world class grappler and might even deserve a high ranking in BJJ or Grappling but that was not the time to rank him in public...

no doubt, Dennis What would a guy like Marcelo Garcia, or Rubens Cobrinha, say about that belt ? Would they laugh ? I think Marcelo, Rubens , the Mendes Bros, Eddie, Fernando terre, Rickson, All the people I look up to in jiu jitsu, I they would laugh there ass off at that belt, & Grand Master Helio would demote randy & his instructor to White Belt.
