    Sneaky knee bar by Rodrigo Antunes @ Metamoris Challenger Finals

    Hi guys,
    Not sure if it had already been posted here (at least I couldn't find it), but I found interesting to share this video, super sneaky knee bar on the Metamoris Challenger finals, with an interesting set up.

    Indeed a slick set up. Also it looked like he had pretty good controle in that position. Let's give it a try in our next training together my friend!

    Nice right? It's nothing new, but I was so surprised when I saw it in such an important match! It's been a long time that I don't see it being used in high level competition. I never really added this to my game as a go-to, but after seeing the way it was set up in this match, made me curious to play with it again

    Unfortunately I will be able to do it only after I am fully recovered from my knee injury. I went to the doctor today and he said that I got a partial tear of the MCL. Gonna start the physiotherapy and take the road to recovery again...

    I call it the 'dog bar' as its just in the same spot as hitting the transition to dogfight. I like hitting it from the bottom and from the top especially if the person is trying to stay on top aggressively, and he is high on me. I like to hit it there, and if he is fighting off my pass when im on top, i like to sit into it and take it there, to either open the pass or finish the fight.

    Awesome knee bar. Casey Halstead has some sick ass knee bar transitional drills too. ' I can hear him yelliing right now...dick on the knee..."
