    I've been DQ'd for the same thing, seem's like you should be able to reap the knee at brown belt though...

    According to the video it's reaping if there is pressure toward the centerline from the outside leg (Jared's right leg) even if the foot hasn't crossed over the hip. If anything Jared is applying pressure outward with his inside leg, and forward with his outside leg. This position simply isn't covered in the video on rules on reaping.
