    Very disappointing fight. I hope Aoki gets another fight sometime soon, I hate having to wait so long to see such great jiu-jitsu in mma.

    Alvarez had a smart game plan. Even after dropping Aoki you could tell he wasnt sure he wanted to follow him to the ground. I was hoping for a better showing but maybe they'll send him through the next LW tourney that would be sweet!

    I think Aoki was thinking the same thing. I dont think he was expecting him to come in at him like that. But I think it was good for Aoki just so now hes expecting it. I doubt he'll make the mistake of letting his guard down once he hits the ground. In a way, Id say his extreme confidence in his ground game was maybe what lost it for him this time. When youre that good, you dont expect anyone to actually come down on top of you. I still cant wait to see his next fight. Aoki is one of my favorite fighters to watch. Just because once he does get on the ground with someone.. Its like watching a masterpiece being painted. He definitely puts the art in martial arts
