    That was pretty neat. Was he using the London, and if so, why? I thought it was a retired form of the rubber guard.

    London/William's Guard has lots of merit. Eddie stopped working with it in the RG path but that doesn't mean it's useless or that other BJJ practitioners wont use it.

    London works if your opponent isn't aware that he can cartwheel out of it into side control. Most jitzers don't know this counter so it can still be very useful

    I really like this counter. It just means having a good single leg game from your knees which is important in mma!!!
