The IBJJF rules change like every 2 seconds so I could be wrong, but last I remember, they'll just stop the action, remove the reaped leg, and have you place your foot on the hip instead.
Last I knew, attempting finish a straight footlock facing your opponents body is illegal because they say it results in a reap of some sort.
Also, I would have to check to see if the Honey Hole position is illegal because I thought I had asked once about reaping and was told the opponents foot would have to be locked in the opposite hip compared to how it is in the Honey Hole.
