BJ is by far my favorite fighter of all time.

It just disappoints me for him to not use the Rubber Guard. We know he is familiar with it and we know that he believes in it, at least to a degree. And we know that he has the flexibility for it. It just hurts.

But we also know his M.O. is to attack from the top/back, and use the guard to sweep or stand up.

I will say this: he had a BEAUTIFUL Super Stomp last night. I believe Eddie said that's who he got it from, right?

It does hurt to see someone with all the right ingredients, plus exponent, not take advantage. Especially when nothing else is working.

I'm confident enough to say, that if bj wished it, no one in his division would escape his rg. nawmsayn?

BJ is tops, a legend and the prodigy! That being said, he needs to divide his personal life and his professional life. Meaning that he needs a new coach. His only major problem was being highlighted in this "championship" fight. The only strategy his corner come out with was; your so much stronger than him, do what you do, blah blah. WTF??? Although that is what a friend or family member would comment, my point is he doesn't need to let his uncle and brother try to coach him. It shows they have no clue as to how to do their jobs as his coach/corner. I felt sorry for both of them, because this is what I'll remember from the fight. And I am speaking from experience on the stagnant training and relying on your natural abilities. I need the very same thing! An easy analogy would be to say that he has reached a training plateau and needs to figure out how to break through it.
