Shuichiro Katsumura is releasing a Mastering the Ninja Choke DVD next month. I've been working this choke since I first saw him finish Masakatsu Ueda in last April's Shooto event, and am pretty excited to check it out.

let me know what you think of it. The way he pulled that off is not the way a lot of people teach it. That variation is just amazing. It looks like he only gets on artery on the choke...it was just filthy

windpipe choke.. one side is open when he rolls.

I use it now and then from chilldog or set it up if ppl lean in when I go for kung fu move. Its like a no arm in necktie

I'm watching this DVD as I write this.
The opening montage of him choking dudes out in Japanese mma events was awesome.

In the opening interview he talks about how he saw Aoki pulling off anaconda chokes and started to copy him and then started to wonder what happens if you can't trap the guys arm? Then he started experimenting with his ninja choke.

This is gonna be a fun sub to drill
