10th Planet Rochester Results from Hayastan Grappling Challenge

We brought another small team of 5 competitiors out yesterday:

Anthony Roberts Teens 160-175lbs 16-17 3rd Place

Jack Bayer Teens -149lbs 14-15 2nd Place

Travis Rivers Men's Intermediate 190-205 2nd Place

Adam Tucker Men's Advanced 176-189 2nd Place

Ben Gardner Men's Beginner 161-175 4th Place

Also congrats to 10th Planet Ronin Mike Sioda who took 2nd Place in his division as well.


Looking forward to bringing out some of the vets this weekend at the Roc Grappling Championships as Yockel will be defending his 2x Absolute Championship, trying to keep it in the 10th Planet house for 3 years running (Scott Stevenson one of my Blues won it the year prior to Yockel). War 10th Planet!

Wow, it's really an honor for be mentioned together with the 10th Planet Rochester team - I've only made it out to the Empire Academy a few times so far - so to have the support of the legendary Coach Herzog in my corner was fucking priceless. In addition to the extremely audible & helpful instructions - stepping up to bat for me with my ring ref so that I could take a 2 min breather in between my back-to-back matches was huge. I doubt that I would have recovered enough to pull off another win if I was on my own, so thank you!

Now good luck on the RGCs guys - I'm looking forward to seeing the vids already! I expect nothing but carnage & mayhem left in your wake.
