As I get older, I try to train smarter than harder. I tap early. I am trying to save what is left of my body. We certainly have hard days of training but I change how I do things. One because my livelihood is teaching and two, because I LOVE this damn art so much, it kills me to be away from the mats.
Shoulders, knees (bye bye RG and lotus), neck and destroyed back. I realized long ago that I need to work around these things. I'll never be 100% like so many of you. I play to my strengths and defend my weaknesses. I won't stop and I appreciate when guys show me variations that work with what I got left.
