I'm looking for suggestions. Sean and I need a natural/organic/semi-natural post work out drink/shake. Something to help build our muscles back up after we break them down.
I only train four nights a week and I'm waking up super sore everyday, esp. The past month. I was thinking it was bc we've had so many big guys in class, but there haven't been that many this week and I'm still kicking myself to get out of bed in the morning.

You can spend as much money as you want on this kind of stuff. Sometimes it can get ridiculous. Keep it simple. Take in some simple carbs immediately after workout. Bananas or some other type of fruit work well and then take in protein within the hour. This can be a can of tuna, lean meat, or if convenience is an issue I suggest Optimum Nutrition whey protein. A good cheap pw mix is almond milk, scoop of natural peanut butter, scoop of whey. I've used the stuff for years with as much success as the more expensive pw pre-mixes.
Supplements are exactly that. Supplements. Getting nutrition from real food will always be superior.
