Is there an advantage to having double outside ashi for the ankle lock, or is it just a different option to take? I still do mine old school with my knee in the middle. I don't like the idea of having my heels by my opponents arms. Why double outside ashi?
I am not worried about having my opponent pushing my knee to pass, because I make sure to have my knee in very deep and low, protecting my other heel.
