knee brace

do any of you guys use knee braces? I hurt my knee last week, had someone in butterfly for a long time, got up, and had this weird feeling like I couldnt put any weight on it. Mopped the mats, and it popped and felt better, rolled again the next day, If im on my on the ground its fine, but standing up for awhile kills... untill it pops again. Its not the crazy popping like my knee is sliding around, just a normal pop, kinda like popping your back or wrist etc... Wondering what braces you guys have or have used... I was thinking about shock doctor, but dont know which one to get...
