    Testing article

    I've enjoyed Keith's perspective on BJJ in the past and I thought this was an interesting article. We've had some discussions on here in the past about testing/ not testing and standards for promotion so I thought I'd share.

    I would have to agree with the post from "slideyfoot" on the thread:

    "...The biggest problem is when people start charging for them. As soon as grading becomes a potential income stream for an instructor, standards slip, until you end up like taekwondo, where there are six year old children running around with black belts...."

    He also posted a link to Roy Dean's article with his view's on the subject:
