Anybody ever had a bad luck month for training?

Well, I will just piss and moan about today. Got up at 4am to go to work. Had to bust my ass to get done to make a 2:45 doctors appointment. Made the appointment on time and then waited forever for the doctor to get her hot ass (the one good thing is she's hot) in the room. A two hour+ doctors appointment, WTF!!! So now, I have a 30 minute drive home to pickup my shit to get to class. I have to leave by 5:30 to make a 7pm class( 1 hour & 20 minute drive to class) . So on my drive home to pickup my shit my baby momma calls & tells me my Akita had diarrhea and shit all over her kennel & all over herself. WTF! So, NO CLASS FOR ME! Spent a hour to clean up the kennel & give my dog a bath!

Dude... funniest thing. After replying on this friend I went to go to class, slipped in a thunderstorm when running out to my car and just trashed all my shit in the biggest puddle of runoff, mud and gravel. I am sooooo Pissed! You jinxed me Dave!

I normally do the same. You've been doing this for years though. So I'm sure you've had a bad luck month (or more). I'm still a measly white belt with one year under my belt, addicted to BJJ. So I'm like going through withdrawal man. Maybe when I get years under my belt, I won't feel so bad about missing a few weeks. But right now it's a serious pain in the ass.

Winter time is good for this, cold after cold. Over the summer I've had quite a few injurys which has been causing me to miss training. I feel like I'm getting back into the swing of things now, hopefully my back stays healthy

Nothing really happen in jiu jitsu for me but I heard some real horror stories from a senior. This one was one that stuck on my mind for this post. The dudes at my no gi class are hardcore to the point where common sense doesn't apply when they're training for competitions. Joseph, the senior got cat claw around his neck from his partner cause the dude forgot to cut his nails. Common sense state that you should clean off the blood and wrap it the claw marks so sweat doesn't seep in. But they continued to roll. A week later or something, he had skin lesions or something growing on his neck and he was out for a month or something.
