Moving to Bay Area July 1st

I am moving to Pleasanton/Dublin area beginning of July and was looking for any thoughts on where to train. I am really bummed to be leaving Vista, made some great friends and owe a lot to Ryan, Geo, and Boogie. Only trained Jiu Jitsu there and would like to stay in the 10th Planet system. I know SF is there but it is a 2 hour drive in traffic, will make it a couple of times a month hopefully. Talking to Ryan he suggested starting a Hotbox, defiantly a possibility in the near future (as long as i can find a spot with room) but would like to know your thoughts especially anybody living in the area. Thanks!!!

When I go to meetings out there I make it to Denny's school in a half hour. His classes are at 7 and traffic going to the City is actually light it's bad coming out so you should have no problem going there.

I guess I gotta try it when I'm up there, in was told by coworkers how long it would take. That would be very cool cause I drive 45 minutes to Vista now. Thanks Scott

Take the BART. I have family in the Bay area and more often than not, I found that the BART was the faster way to go.

They are partially exaggerating from Dublin to San Francisco with modest traffic is like an hour and 15 minutes tops. Now escaping the city at rush hour that is the 2 hour traffic or in the mornings it sucks commuting. Bart would probably cost you $16 to mission street which is the closest to Denny's academy on Velencia. Hope that helps, also Ralph Gracie has a school out in Dublin, but not sure how system friendly his school is, from what I heard he is pretty traditional and wants his students training under just his team, but in this day and age train wherever you feel most comfortable. Lots of other schools, I think Dave Camarillo has an academy out in Pleasanton too and the Cripsim Barra brothers. My advice try to get to Denmy's, forthr instruction alone if anything. Hope this helped

Thanks for the advice Kyle! I am defiantly going to try the drive and see how it goes, I'm hoping to be able to train with Denny. I did see Dave Camirrilo was there and would be the next place I would check out, maybe even just for my son. He's been attending the kids classes in Vista over the last year.
