    Memorable Moment

What is everyone's favorite experience since joining the system? Either competition wise or just an awesome story. I'm sure there are some good ones!

I have a couple. Obviously getting my blue belt from Eddie was a highlight, not just of my time with the system but overall its one of my proudest achievements.
Also the 2 day seminar Eddie did in Sweden was FUCKING BADASS, but for slightly different reasons. Getting to smoke some pretty nice Swedish weed with him in our hotel after a night of partying was certainly one I wanted to check off my bucket list haha.

Getting my blue was probably the greatest ever, especially being a Ronin who practiced on the bare floors of a kung fu school for years.

As far as an actual rolling moment, recently I was in London Ontario Canado and stopped by a gym to catch some rolls. I got to go with one of their instructors. I took Chevy to the truck and set up baseballbat control and was just kinda hanging out letting him try to fight out of it. He finally stopped and said, "I have no idea what the hell you're doing, or what's about to happen, but I really can't do anything." Just the way he said it made it awesome.

Probably the coolest moment I can remember is one of my first rolls, getting twisted around and choked out by a guy literally half my size. I was a little stunned and surprised, but happy because it proved to me how effective BJJ really is. Made me even more excited to learn it.

I've only competed once, I had three matches, I won one and lost two. My most memorable moment was the perfect finish I pulled off on the guy.
He was turtled after a wicked scramble and I was northsouth on him, I set up a beautiful rolling anaconda and wrapped his legs up like a JNT. It was perfect. He didn't see it coming.

Of course that was one of the matches they never recovered even though they filmed it. I know they have it on tape but they are too lazy to go through them all and watch them all because there were a lot of cameras and a lot of them got bumped out of postion. I know for a fact that my maches were all filmed because my buddy Josh's father was there and he kept an eye on the camera.
Bummer because I would like to watch the matches I lost too.
At that point I think I had 6 months of JJ training. Maybe a little more.

I'm due for some tournaments but money is tight and time is tighter.
