For the first time ever, As I went to mission, dude reached up and grabbed my foot (that was behind the head across the back) and pulled down. Shocked me, as I haven't had this happen before, didn't hurt too much, but it did put a lot of stress on my bad knee.
So:
1) what did I do wrong
2) how do I stop this
3) after a self review, I figured I could go to jui claw/omaplata to alleviate the pressure, but not sure if this is the correct pathway.
Other information:
I kinda figured I might have been a little slow and sloppy in my movement - so advantage anyone for my laziness. I asked him later, and he said he used to roll in eastern PA and the guys at the gym would do that to him when he tried pulling some rubber guard. He says it is his immediate go to move as soon as someone tries to pull rubber guard. He told me that he has tried the system before and has liked some of it, but he doesn't train it.
any help would be appreciated. I do need to go to a moon sometime and learn the basics under instruction. I have a feeling I have developed bad habits.
