Wanted to congratulate both of my guys that competed and bringing home gold today in Derek Stewart's Midwest Submission Challenge tournament. I had to post the video of them because I'm pretty fired up. This video is of Ismar Diaz who competed in the teen novice division. Ismar worked his rubber guard, worked being in New Jersey-Meat Hook to prevent the pass and went on for the finish. This kid will be a monster if continues to train like he has been!!

Chicago took 7 medals from 6 competitors. I only have a few videos which I can post tomorrow or Monday. Some were not useable.
Dan Conway and John Mejia took gold
Amber Kamischke silver in both gi and no gi
Josh Passini, Matt Spica and Alex Kim all took bronze

Fight Science Gym did really well too! I believe we had 9 medals from 6 competitors! We all love the 10th Planet style, it was great finally getting to meet some of you guys from the forum! Congrats to everyone who competed!
