Another great episode! Side control is by far the toughest spot for me to escape. Against a heavier guy with a good base it a nightmare. I'll give my arm or my back just to escape from a less crushing position.

Amazing techniques! Also, it was really cool to see Professor Eddie get promoted. One of the best MTS's to date.

My worst position! Yes, finally some cool 10p shit to spice up my bottom of side control game (and make it less... well.... shit). Just downloaded and transferred the vid to my iPhone. Can't wait to check it out!

p.s. Looking forward to, and hoping for more 10p escapes/defence in future episodes. The only problem with traditional escapes - when you're going against a higher belt and they know what you're trying to do - it almost never works (same thing with every other position - which is why I love the rubber guard and spiderweb).

This side control escape system is working like a charm. Absolutely beautiful. So today we were drilling the escapes, step by step. Then we got to the part where Cora got the C cup on me and then I ask her, "what happen if someone doesn't go for the twister side control? what do you do?" The girl did the flying kung fu and snatched a go go plata on me ( just like the way Master Eddie showed it on the MTS) but she didn't watch the video and I haven't even got to that point with her yet. But she's already pulling it off. DAMN!!!
